This post is available from 1st January 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research in any field of Roman history and to teach Roman history at all levels, up to and including the supervision of research students. You will also be required to contribute to teaching for the School’s Classical Studies programme.

Applicants should have a good Honours degree and should have completed, or be near to completing, a PhD in a relevant field. Applications from early career researchers and established academics are equally welcome.
