Research Interests:
Early 12th century Theologian and Philosopher – Jean de La Rochelle.
For my doctorate I am translating (from Latin into English) a work by Jean entitled the Summa de anima (Treatise on the Soul) and critically analysing its philosophical content.

Selected Publications:
Published an article on my on-going doctoral research in the Maynooth Philosophical Papers Issue 3 (2006).

I have submitted an article for publication entitled ‘Jean de La Rochelle’s Formulation of the Distinction between Being and Essence’ for the the 2007 edition of the Maynooth Philosophical Papers which is due to be published shortly.

Funded Projects:
I am a recipient of a John and Pat Hume Scholarship 2005.

Current Teaching:
From Sept. 2007 – Dec. 2007 I taught in the Pontifical University Maynooth.
I am currently tutoring 2nd years in the Philosophy Dept. NUI Maynooth.
