Early Medieval Ireland and Great Britain (esp. 400-1200): Old and Middle Irish; Church history and monasticism, esp. hagiography, penitential literature, visions and apocryphal literature; identity within the religious context; intercultural relations and exchange; textual transmission and literary adaptation.
Currently working on a new edition and study of Félire Óengusso (the Martyrology of Óengus).
