Research Interests:
Early Irish Christian spirituality-the Vitae of early Irish Saints and other monastic writings of the early Irish Church. Early and Medieval Christian Spirituality in Ireland (including Hugh of St. Victor, Richard of St. Victor). Spirituality/Theology of Patristic writers, especially St. Augustine. Early monasticism in Ireland and Europe. Medieval Mendicant spirituality with special reference to the Augustinian order.

I have taught modules in Irish/Celtic spirituality and I have also taught at the Priory Institute, Tallaght and at the Franciscan International Study Centre in Canterbury.
