Friday evening: Registration , Reception and Opening of Conference followed by : an evening of stories, legends and music with local raconteur and broadcaster John Kennedy.

Saturday morning : 9.30 Registration

9.45 : Official Opening of Conference – Raghnall Ó Floinn, Head of Collections , National Museum of Ireland, Dublin

10.00 : John Bradley (NUI – Maynooth) “Youghal and the Mediæval Towns of Ireland”.

 11.00 : Dagmar Ó Riain-Raedel (UCC) “When miracles happened at Youghal: Our Lady of Graces.”

11.30 : Colmán Ó Clabaigh (Glenstal Abbey) “Monks, Medicine and Malpractice – the Benedictine Hospital in Mediæval Youghal”.
