The history department at Erskine College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor beginning in September 2011. Specialization in Ancient, Medieval or World History. Ph.D. preferred, but ABDs will be considered. Ability to teach the history of world civilizations required. Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. 4-0-4 teaching load. We will begin screening applications immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
