Three year fixed-term Lecturer in Early Modern History,
School of History, Archaeology and Religion,
Cardiff University, Cardiff.

The School of History, Archaeology and Religion wishes to appoint a three-year fixed term lecturer in Early Modern History (c.1500–1750) to cover the absence of a member of staff who has been awarded a 3 year research fellowship by the Leverhulme Trust.

Applicants for the post should have a record of, or potential for, excellence in research in any field of Early Modern History, although a specialism in social and cultural history might be an advantage. Applicants should have the ability to deliver high-quality teaching in early modern history at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and in particular should be able to teach a Year One module on Early Modern England and Wales.  The successful applicant should also participate in the general life of the School, including administrative duties, as appropriate.

Salary: £30424 – £32267 per annum
