NUI Maynooth are seeking an excellent academic to join their staff as a Lecturer in Early Irish. The person appointed will have a proven record of teaching, research and publication. He/she will be expected to make a strong contribution to the teaching programme of the Department and undertake teaching duties on the department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as the supervision of Master’s and PhD students. He/she will be expected to lecture
on a wide range of topics in the literature of Medieval Ireland and in the study of other Ancient and Medieval Celtic cultures. The appointee will also be expected to build a strong research profile, conducting research and engaging in scholarship of quality and substance and generating publications of international standard.
