- doctorate in medieval English literature
- excellent research profile or interest in medieval English religious literature
- experience in administration, conference organisation, web page design
- ability to contribute to a growing and stimulating group of medievalists in the English department
Description of the work:
The appointed post-doctoral researcher will contribute to the team’s work by designing and contributing to an on-line catalogue of devotional compilations, preparing and editing a web page which will used to offer information to academics and the larger public about recent findings. The chosen candidate will be responsible for most of the manuscript investigations. He/she will take responsibility for the organisation of an international conference on devotional compilations and the co-editing of a volume consisting of the best papers given at the conference. The candidate will publish a minimum of three peer-reviewed articles or a book on devotional compilations.
