Assistant Professor Renaissance/Early Modern European History,
Rhode Island College.

The Department of History at Rhode Island College invites applications for a full-time, temporary, one year position at the rank of Assistant Professor for Fall 2013 to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Renaissance/Early Modern European History and the Department’s General Education offering in Western History: Europe in the World.
Required: ABD in European History with a focus on Renaissance and Early Modern Europe; college level teaching experience, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and an active research agenda.

Preferred:  Ph.D. in History with a specialization in Early Modern Europe.

The Position is open until filled, but priority will be give to applicants who apply by July 15, 2013.
