The post is an associate lectureship for one semester on a first-year module, Religion, Empire and Ideas: The Making of British Identity 1485-1789. Topics addressed on the module include Tudor and Stuart Monarchy; Social and Cultural change; Civil War and the Glorious Revolution; the formation of Britain and national identities .
The role will involve leading lectures and seminars for a group of about 70 students, and the associated marking.
You will need to be available to teach for one semester from September to December on Friday’s from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm.
