The French department at Columbia University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position with specialization in any aspect of Medieval and/or 16th century French literature and culture. Beyond teaching in the field of specialization, the successful candidate will teach two courses a year in Columbia’s core curriculum, typically Literature Humanities. Interviews will be conducted at the MLA Convention in Chicago, January 9-12, 2014.
