Teaching Associate in Ancient History,

£27,854 – £36,298 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Applications are invited for the above post based at the Humanities Building, University Park campus, University of Nottingham. The successful candidate will teach, assess, and administer modules in ancient history at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contribute to other teaching within the Department, including Latin language teaching at Beginners and/or Intermediate levels, provide pastoral support for the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate students, and undertake departmental administration as required by the Head of Department. Candidates will have a PhD successfully completed or near completion and a specialism in any aspect of ancient history.

This full-time post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of two years, from 3/2/14 until 29/1/16.
