The fourth Tudor & Stuart Ireland conference will be held at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, County Kildare, on the 29 and 30 August 2014. This year’s conference features research papers and plenary lectures on variety of topics relating to Ireland during the Tudor and Stuart period to include:
• religious/ecclesiastical history
• political theory
• material culture
• women and society
• military history, warfare, and conflict
• literature and propaganda.

Over one hundred speakers from a range of disciplines including History, English, Archaeology and Art History, have presented papers at past Tudor and Stuart Ireland Conferences.
