The Iberian Book Project (IB) is a bibliographical project based at the UCD Centre for the History of the Media. Its objective is to survey publishing in the Iberian Peninsula and the New World from the beginning of print until the end of the Golden Age. Funded by the Andrew Mellon Foundation under their Scholarly Communications and Information Technology Scheme, the project is about to enter its third phase with a focus on the second half of the seventeenth century. As with the other stages of the project, IB will be made available as a free online resource (see www.ustc.ac.uk). This will also offer a portal for digital reproductions of Iberian works which are freely or commercially available.
