Teaching Associate in Medieval History,
Sheffield University.

Fixed-term, from 1 September 2014 to 13 February 2015

Faculty: Faculty of Arts and Humanities

The Department of History is seeking to appoint to a fixed-term Teaching Associate in Medieval History.

The post-holder will deliver teaching and carry out assessment and evaluation of a Level 2 undergraduate option, and also some Level 1 teaching. Specifically the successful candidate will be required to take full responsibility for HST280: ‘Sacred Violence in the Medieval Mediterranean’, and mark coursework and examinations as required. You will have a good honours degree and will have completed the requirements for a PhD (or have equivalent experience) in a relevant subject area.  You will also have excellent communication skills and organisational skills with a proven teaching ability at undergraduate level and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues in teaching and administration endeavour.

The post is fixed-term with a start date of 1 September 2014 and an end date of 13 February 2015.
