Tenure-track Assistant Professor Modern or Renaissance French Literature,
The Department of French and Romance Philology,
The Department of French and Romance Philology at Columbia University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Modern (nineteenth- and twentieth-century) or Renaissance French literature, with a particular interest in visual or material culture. Ph.D. must be awarded by the appointment start date (July 1, 2015). Beyond teaching in the field of specialization, the successful candidate will teach two courses a year in Columbia’s Core Curriculum, typically Literature Humanities.
The review of applications will begin November 1, 2014 and continue until the position is filled.
