Applications are invited for the full-time post of Research Assistant on the Oxford Roman Economy Project; the post is fixed-term for 1 year and is based at New Barnett House, Little Clarendon Street, Oxford.
You will join the Oxford Roman Economy Project (OXREP), to collect and organise archaeological material relating to mining, agricultural activity, and craft production, in order to aid understanding of Roman economic activity. You will also be responsible for maintaining material in the existing databases, as well as conducting analysis of the data in ways corresponding to the research interests of OXREP.
You will hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Roman archaeology or a closely related field, and will have experience and knowledge of databases
