Date: 17 April 2015
Professor Mary Clayton retired from the Chair of Anglo-Saxon poetry in the School of English, Drama and Film, UCD in December 2014. Her colleagues would like to honour her contribution to Anglo-Saxon studies and her contribution to the wider academic community with a day of study, followed by a wine reception and poetry reading on April 17th 2015. There is an exciting panel of speakers planned for the day and, in addition, Prof Bernard O’Donoghue and Paula Meehan will offer a poetry reading in the late afternoon. Please join us for what promises to be a wonderful celebration of a generous and talented colleague.
Further details will follow. In the interim, for further details contact: Niamh Pattwell (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Juliet Mullins (email@example.com).
