Fixed term contract for 6 months from 1 May 2015 to cover maternity leave

The Department of History is seeking to appoint a lecturer who will contribute to the support of new and existing modules. This will include writing online support materials for a new module on the social history of Early Modern Europe (1500-1750) and participation in the module teams for one or more of our existing undergraduate modules.

You will have a good honours degree in History and a completed doctoral degree in an appropriate historical subject. You will build on your proven successful teaching experience in higher education, and have an understanding of supported open and distance learning, particularly online teaching.

The Faculty has a strong commitment to collective working in teaching and scholarship.
